Welcome to Langsett
Langsett parish is centred around the hamlet of Langsett to the west of Barnsley, partly within the Peak District National Park, nestled within the valley of the Little Don and Porter River. The Parish has approximately 80 households, which are spread far and wide across the parish.
Langsett village centre is located next to Langsett Reservoir and the village itself includes a public house, cafe and Langsett Barn/picnic site and parking. The centre is a great starting point for walks around the reservoir and along the surrounding hills. The area is well known for its walking and beautiful scenery.
